What types of assignments and activities should Fellows expect?

In addition to scheduled retreats and webinars, Fellows participate in leadership assessments, mentoring, capstone projects, and other professional-development activities throughout the program.

Can a campus nominate more than one candidate for the same leadership institute?

Yes. Campuses may nominate more than one candidate for each leadership institute.

What if my campus does not use one of the nominator titles listed on the Application Process page?

Different campus leadership structures may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The nominator should clarify the circumstances in the nomination.

How soon after nomination will I receive application instructions?

The application link is generated immediately after the nomination is submitted. If you do not receive the application information, please contact SUNYLEADS@suny.edu for assistance.

If I previously applied to SUNY LEADS, do I need to be nominated again?

Yes. A new nomination is required for each application cycle. Returning applicants are encouraged to review and strengthen their application materials before reapplying.
