SUNY Ulster is a student-centered institution providing learning in an environment of academic excellence, civic responsibility and cultural appreciation. Flexible schedules, small classes and affordable tuition provide a quality education to all who wish to learn.
Classes are held days, evenings, weekends and online, in both traditional and accelerated formats to prepare students for entry into growing careers or transfer to four-year colleges to complete their baccalaureate degrees. Recognized for our robust liberal arts program, other notable programs include veterinary technology, graphic and fine arts, STEM, criminal justice, nursing, surveying technology and online degrees and courses.
Academic travel, internships, athletics and clubs contribute to a well-rounded college experience. Arts programming introduces students to renowned writers, poets, and visual and performing artists in both the classroom and in our 500-seat Quimby Theater.
