Strong student support services including mentors, success coaches, individualized tutoring, advising, academic labs, and wellness services enhance the student experience, providing a strong foundation for students to learn and to grow. With very affordable tuition, flexible class schedules, and small classes, SUNY Schenectady offers more than 55 transfer degree, career degree, and certificate programs within our academic divisions:
School of Hotel, Culinary Arts, and Tourism — School of Music — Division of Business, Criminal Justice, and Law — Division of Liberal Arts — Division of Math, Science, Technology, and Health
Students gain hands-on experience through internships, field instruction, and service learning projects, working alongside professionals already in the field. For those looking to transfer, students with an A.A. or A.S. degree are guaranteed admission to a SUNY senior college, and SUNY Schenectady has more than 150 transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities so that students can transfer seamlessly into baccalaureate programs at other institutions. Also, through a partnership with SUNY Delhi, graduates can take all courses in Delhi’s B.B.A. programs at SUNY Schenectady.
SUNY Schenectady is driven to empowering every student in their pursuit of lifelong success and to inspiring every student’s success through equitable practices, innovative education, and community engagement.
