Welcome to SUNYFEST

SUNYFEST, the first-ever system-wide virtual music festival at the State University of New York, brought students together safely with their peers at SUNY schools throughout New York State for a day of musical acts and performances.

Headlined by global sensation Kesha and multiplatinum trio of brothers AJR, the festival also featured musical acts by talented student musicians from across the state, hailing from a number of campuses throughout the SUNY system. From Long Island to Buffalo to Plattsburgh, SUNY schools hosted their own celebrations of music and the arts during SUNYFEST weekend, providing their campus communities with a fun way to experience music like never before.

Vicious Summer
Suffolk County Community College

Sam Aronoff (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Alex Isaacson (Guitar), Conor Riccomini (Bass), and Jack Zuckerberg (Drums) are Vicious Summer. A 4-piece Alt-rock band that isn’t afraid to combine elements from all genres. Isaacson, Aronoff, and Zuckerberg met in 2019. The band sparked magic when they spontaneously wrote a song in Alex’s room at 1 am. From then on, they worked to hone their sound and create their own style of rock music. All the members come from different musical backgrounds which range from Classical, Metal, Pop, Blues and of course rock. In late 2020 Vicious Summer added Conor Riccomini as the permanent bass player. On the outside, the band presents itself with a fun-loving attitude, however, if you look deeper you will see through their songwriting that they care deeply about the message they spread.
