Statement from Chancellor King and the SUNY Board of Trustees on Yom HaShoah

April 24, 2025

"Yom HaShoah is not only a day to remember the six million Jews, and all those murdered by the Nazi regime and their supporters during the Holocaust, it is a day to recommit ourselves to ensuring such horrors will never again be allowed. We must learn the lessons of the past, recognize the corrosive nature of intolerance, and stand up against fear, antisemitism, and hatred in all forms. This day, and all days, we remember, we grieve, and we pledge to uphold the promise: Never Again."
