Helping Parents Succeed With Quality Child Care
Quality child care is essential in helping student parents attend school and earn a degree. At SUNY, our 46 campus child care centers provide care for children while parents are in class, studying, or working. Our centers are conveniently located at or near a SUNY campus. Student parents can find high-quality developmentally appropriate early care and learning programs, summer programs, universal pre-K, and after school programs that they may utilize at any SUNY campus they choose.
SUNY child care centers are licensed by the State of New York or the Department of Health, and many centers are NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accredited or a four or five star QUALITYstarsNY participant
For student parents who are income eligible, a child care subsiudy is available through the Child Care and Development Block Grant.
