State University of New York Association of Chief Officers
The purpose of the this organization shall be:
- To collaborate to produce the highest quality of and broadest access to academic endeavors consistent with the State University mission.
- To provide opportunities for
academic officers of the SUNY institutions to meet and maintain
communication in the interest of providing the highest quality programs.
- To provide opportunities for cooperative efforts in cooperation with SUNY System Administration officials in all matters affecting the academic endeavors of SUNY institutions.
- To select and disseminate new and useful information among the membership.
- To
serve as an advisory group and as consultants to the SUNY System
Administration in areas of individual and collective competence.
Membership
The
membership of the Association consists of the chief academic officers
of each institution of the University. The chief academic officer may
designate a substitute representative for any Association activity.
