Zimpher, Chancellor Subject: Naming of Dubin Family Athletic Performance Center � State University of New York at Stony Brook I recommend that the Board of Trustees adopt the following resolution: Resolved that the naming of a strength and conditioning center at the State University of New York at Stony Brook as the Dubin Family Athletic Performance Center be, and hereby is, approved. Background In recognition of a commitment of $4.3 million by Glenn R. Dubin �78, an alumnus of SUNY Stony Brook, the resolution approves the naming of a new strength and conditioning center for student �athletes as the Dubin Family Athletic Performance Center. The proposed 7,600 square-foot strength and conditioning center is slated for completion in Fall 2011 and will be located in the squash court area of the Stony Brook Indoor Sports Complex. This center will be instrumental in providing Stony Brook coaches and student-athletes with the facilities necessary to recruit and compete at the highest levels.
