June 2009 Board of Trustees Meeting

At the June 16, 2009, meeting of the SUNY Board of Trustees, Dr. Nancy L. Zimpher attended for the first time as SUNY Chancellor.

In addition, the Board welcomed two new members, John L. Murad and Cary F. Staller, and Student Assembly President Melody Mercedes and University Faculty Senate President Kenneth P. O'Brien were sworn in as trustees.

The Board also appointed George Philip as president of the University at Albany and Dr. Carol Brown as president of North Country Community College. The meeting was hosted by the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
