Statement from Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher on the Death of Former Oswego Professor Dr. Warren Weinstein

“Dr. Warren Weinstein was a generous man and beloved professor whose contributions, not only to SUNY Oswego and our university system, but to New York State and communities around the world are many.

“The SUNY family is deeply saddened by the news of his tragic death. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Weinstein’s wife, Elaine, as well as their children, extended family and all who knew him.”
