Chancellor Zimpher, Albany Promise Delegation To Attend White House Summit on Expanding College Opportunity

Washington, DC – State University of New York Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher, University at Albany President Robert J. Jones, and Dr. Marguerite Vanden Wyngaard, superintendent of the City School District of Albany, tomorrow will join the President, Vice President, and First Lady in Washington, DC for the second annual White House College Opportunity Summit.
Chancellor Zimpher will participate in a panel discussion at 9:15 a.m., emphasizing the important role of cradle-to-career partnerships between K-12 and higher education such as Albany Promise and others SUNY is a part of throughout New York State.
The summit, including Chancellor Zimpher’s 9:15 a.m. panel discussion as well as remarks by the President, Vice President, and First Lady, will be streamed live as follows:
