Situated in the Alpine foothills, Graz is Austria's second largest city and a gateway for commercial relations with South Eastern Europe. It is a lively city with a rich tradition of music and theater and easy access to Alpine recreation. Courses, designed specifically for students with two years of German, include history, international relations, language, and literature. Regular university courses are available for students with sufficient German, including anthropology, archeology, computer science, earth sciences, ecology, humanities, information technology, linguistics, math, natural and physical sciences, philosophy, religion, and social sciences. Participants may request placement in mini-internships.
