What you can expect as a PRODiG Faculty Member?
As a PRODiG-supported faculty member, you can expect to be encouraged and supported in your success both on your campus, and at the system level.
Campus-based support:

- A campus that values you, celebrates your achievements, and actively contributes to your success
- Onboarding and mentoring
- Discretionary funding to support travel, conferences and professional development
- A campus that is intentional in its support for URM and WSTEM Faculty members by:
- Tracking data on URM/WSTEM recruitment and retention
- Conducting exit interviews to better understand reasons for URM/WSTEM faculty separating from service
- Maintaining an active campus PRODiG Committee dedicated to removing barriers to diversity in faculty hiring and retention
- Advancing the goals in its Faculty Diversity Strategic Plan
SUNY System support:

- Complimentary membership the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity
- Membership in a cohort of PRODiG Faculty represented at SUNY institutions across New York State
- Annual Onboarding and Convening, and bi-monthly webinars, with your PRODiG faculty cohort members
- Annual mentoring and professional development conference
- Advisement from members of the SUNY Distinguished Academy
What will be expected of YOU?

- That you will play a key role in a pipeline that works to diversify SUNY faculty by encouraging and mentoring PRODiG Fellows (late ABDs and Post-Docs)
- That you will attend PRODiG events, and help to advance the principles and goals of PRODiG
