Motivate others as you advance your own goals as a personal trainer! Personal trainers help others build self-confidence, self-esteem and improve mental and physical health. Through this microcourse you will have the opportunity to earn the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accredited credential through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a certified personal trainer. You will understand basic anatomy and biomechanics, plan development for strength training and weight management and more. Successful completion of this microcourse prepares you for continued study and to immediately apply for work with athletic trainers, physical therapists, and coaches and can even provide the technical foundation for starting your own business in this high demand field.
