This title is in the unclassified service and is designated Managerial/Confidential. Appointees to Managerial/Confidential titles serve at the pleasure of the chief administrative officer and are not represented for collective negotiations.
Positions in this broad general grouping are involved with the administering of the campus business affairs to support and enhance the academic purpose of the campus. 'They include but are not limited to accounting, budget development, administration and control, the bursary, payroll, and internal audit. Supervision is generally provided by the chief business officer -- either a Vice President for Administration or Director of Business Affairs -- and functional specialists assigned as needed.
ASSOCIATE FOR UNIVERSITY FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, at a campus of the University, serves as a general assistant to an administrator concerned with finance and/or budgeting affairs. Applies the unique aid specialized knowledge of college and University accounting and program budgeting, to, the comparative analysis, preparation and review of budget and fiscal data, communicates with academic administrators for purposes of preparing budget and fiscal requests to ensure that resources are funded to meet educational programs.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Higher Education Administration.
