POSITION:                          Media Production Coordinator

 

REPORTS TO:                    Vice President for Institutional Advancement

 

SALARY:                              Staff & Chairman Grade II

 

REQUIRED:          Bachelor Degree with one year of required experience or Associates with three years of required experience. Required experience in media production.

 

PREFERRED:       Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education Media Technology.

 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Media Production Coordinator has the overall responsibility for production of instructional media at Orange County Community College.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.         Perform photographic production work in still, slide, filmstrip and videotape formats; processing; editing.

2.         Perform graphic art production and display tasks such as lamination, transparencies, posters, charts and graphs.

3.         Advise faculty in the use that can be made of all instructional media.

4.         Provide instruction in the operation and use of instructional equipment

5.         Budgets, specifies and recommends media equipment and supplies for departmental needs.

6.         Coordinates satellite T. V. programming, off .air recording and teleconferences. Also coordinate maintenance for satellite.

7.         Serve as campus photographer.

8.         All other related duties as assigned.
