Expanding SUNY campus food pantry resources

State University of New York Chancellor Jim Malatras announced a grant program to expand SUNY campus pantry resources to combat food insecurity—an issue that has become even more dire for students during the pandemic. As part of the program, SUNY will provide grants up to $1,000 to campuses to acquire refrigerators for their food pantries, making it possible for every campus to store more fresh food and protein.

Institutions who currently do not have refrigeration in their food pantries may apply for a grant of up to $1,000. Only one application per campus.

All applications must be submitted through the below portal. Student Association Representatives, Campus Food Pantry Coordinators, and any official representatives of the Campus are encouraged to apply.
