New York City Information Sessions - Financial Aid Overview (for high school students)

Note:  This program is for high school students and their families.

Learn about the financial aid process, including the cost of attendance, types of aid, and helpful timelines to stay on track. We’ll explore resources, such as SUNY Smart Track – a free financial literacy tool that covers budgeting, responsible credit card use, identity theft, and how to pay for college. 

The program begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. at the SUNY Welcome Center and will include time for questions and answers.

Directions to New York City by Train or Bus

If you are arriving in New York City by train at either Grand Central Terminal or Pennsylvania Station, or by bus at the Port Authority Terminal, you can reach the SUNY Welcome Center on foot very quickly. The College of Optometry is located two blocks west of Grand Central Station, nine blocks north of Penn Station, and three blocks east of the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
