The Office of Diversity and Affirmative Action provides programs that facilitate an appreciation for human differences relating to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age and religion.
The Office:
- manages SUNY-wide graduate fellowships for underrepresented students and SUNY-wide affirmative action initiatives;
- interprets related laws, rules, regulations and policies;
- assists campus presidents and affirmative action personnel; and
- assists SUNY System Administration legal counsel and human resources personnel.
