Procedures

Impatica licensing is available to SUNY institutions in accordance with the attached price list.  Contact the Impatica rep listed above to place an order.  In addition, Impatica offers a student licensing program as described below.

Impatica Student Licensing Program

Q: What is the Impatica Student Licensing Program?

A: The Impatica Student Licensing Program allows for Students enrolled at Higher

Education Institutions to purchase licenses of Impatica for PowerPoint at highly

discounted rates. Students can select from three purchase options:

· One-year Student license – $24.95 per student

· Two-year Student license – $36.95 per student

· Perpetual Student license – $59.95 per student

Student licenses of Impatica for PowerPoint are fully functional and are available for

Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

Q: For what applications can Students use Impatica for PowerPoint?

A: Students can use Impatica for PowerPoint for a wide variety of applications, including:

· Online & Class Projects

· Digital Portfolios

· Sharing work and information online

Q: How do Students purchase?

A: Students purchase online via a secure Website hosted by Impatica. Upon purchasing,

the student is provided his or her license registration code and a link to download

Impatica for PowerPoint. Links to helpful tutorials, support pages, and online manuals

are also provided.

Q: How do faculty receive a copy of Impatica for PowerPoint?

A: Faculty that choose to implement Impatica for PowerPoint as a course requirement are

entitled to a complimentary copy of the software.

Q: Is support available for students and faculty using the software?

A: Impatica offers extensive online documentation in the form of FAQs, multimedia

tutorials, and product manuals. Training and second-tier support is available for faculty

and staff that implement and encourage the student licensing program.

Q: How do faculty enroll a class in the Student Purchase program?

A: Faculty members that are interested in enrolling a class in the program can contact

Q: Is there any financial compensation offered to a school that participates in the

Impatica Student Licensing Program?

A: Yes. To offset any costs that a school may incur to implement and promote the Impatica

Student Licensing Program, Impatica pays a school administration fee of 20% of sales

to the host school.
