The SUNY CPD builds partnerships...

Through partnerships with other SUNY organizations and our Vendor Partners we can better serve the training and professional development needs of the SUNY Community. Through these partnerships, we can offer a broad range of opportunities, discounted pricing, and the option of payment with CPD training points for our member campuses.

To attend a class at a vendor location:

Follow these steps if your campus is a CPD Member:

  • Contact the CPD or your Campus Points Contact to verify the availability of points.
  • If points are available, the CPD will contact the vendor and register you.
  • The CPD will deduct the registration fee from your campus' training points account and will mark your registration paid.
  • The CPD will pay the vendor.
  • You will receive registration information.

Follows these steps if your campus is not a CPD Member or no CPD Training Points are available:

  • Call the vendor direct to register for training.
  • Indicate you are from SUNY to receive the SUNY discount.
  • The vendor will bill you or your campus.

To host an event at your campus:

Contact the CPD and we will work with you and the vendor in all aspects. If you have a training need and do not see it on a vendor course listing, contact us and we will assist you.

PARTNERING WITH THE CPD

Is your organization holding an event? The CPD can help! By partnering with us we can:

  • Utilize our internal & external SUNY contacts to advertise via email.
  • Include your event on our Online Calendar.
  • Include a link on our website to your event's website.
  • Accept CPD training points as a method of payment.
Note: Other services are available through our Conference Support Services (fees may apply).

To partner with the CPD we ask that you:

  • Offer a reduced registration rate for CPD member campuses.
  • Share the event's registrant list with us.
  • Use our logo and list the CPD as a co-sponsor on the event materials.
  • Provide us with registration reports showing CPD training points payments.

Note: CPD training points payments must be in accordance with normal CPD points payment processes.
