 is the premiere provider of online training on Accessible Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities. EASI simplifies the creation of accessible information technology so you can better focus on designing creative content.

The SUNY CPD, in partnership with EASI, is pleased to offer EASI Courses, Web Conferences, and Podcasts designed to support institutions in making their computer and information technology systems accessible to employees, students, staff and instructors with disabilities.

EASI Online Courses and the Certificate of Accessible Information Technology

EASI Online Courses can be taken individually for CEUS or as one of a package of courses that can earn the Accessible Information Technology Certificate. Each course can earn three continuing education units. A package of five courses can earn a University of Southern Maine Certificate in Accessible Information Technology. EASI instructors are experienced online trainers with extensive knowledge in the various areas of accessible information technology.

EASI courses are month-long, interactive, instructor-led and entirely online. Course content is available anytime from anywhere on the Web. Web discussion and email are used for class interaction. Some live Web conferences may be scheduled.

• CPD Member: $245 - Use your CPD Training Points for payment.

EASI Online Web Conferences

EASI produces FREE and FEE-BASED audio web conferences. The web conferences are hour-long, live, interactive presentations and discussions on specific accessibility related topics. For up-to-date information on available web conferences, visit EASI Web Conferences.

An overview of current information about accessibility. Register Direct with EASI to participate.

Fee-Based Web Conferences -

A monthly four-part series that presents a detailed, hands-on, skill-based experience with applications that facilitate creating accessible output.

SUNY Fee for each four-part series:

• CPD Member -- $140 (Use your CPD Points.)
• Non-CPD Member -- $150

EASI Podcasts & Vodcasts

Podcasting and Vodcasting have become one of the hottest trends on the Web today. In many ways they are an excellent addition to the way we think about delivering information on the Web. EASI produces podcasts and vodcasts on a variety of topics dealing with education, technology and/or disabilities.
