Pursuant to 8 NYCRR §302.7, this document outlines the State University of New York’s (University) policy on tuition waiver program for supervisor of social service field work.
Pursuant to 8 NYCRR §302.7, the State University of New York (University) Board of Trustees has established a tuition waiver policy for persons providing service to the University as supervisors of social service field work. The University will be reimbursed for such waivers from the tuition waiver allocation for Supervisors of Social Service Field Work.
A. The campus president, or designee, may honor tuition waivers for courses up to a maximum of eight semester credit hours per term for any person who holds a tuition waiver certificate(s), having received the tuition waiver certificate directly from the University for service to the University as a supervisor of social service field work.
B. Tuition waiver certificates issued to supervisors of social service field work are NOT TRANSFERABLE.
C. Each state-operated campus of the University, regardless of the campus for which the service was rendered, will honor such tuition waivers.
