September 21, 2010

Contact: David Henahan, pr@sysadm

"I am pleased to have been appointed by the National Governor’s Association to the Complete to Compete National Advisory Group.

Complete to Compete promises to help more U.S. college students successfully complete their degree and certificate programs. I look forward to working with West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin III and my colleagues on the Advisory Group toward this important goal, which is aligned with SUNY's initiatives to repair the education pipeline."

Complete to Compete: Common College Completion Metrics, a set of common higher education completion and productivity measures that governors and higher education leaders can utilize to monitor state progress and compare performance to other states and between institutions, was also released at the meeting.
