Why:    SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher will honor more than 300 college students from SUNY campuses throughout the state, presenting 249 students with the 2011 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and 59 students with awards from Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for community college students.
