annual salary of $67,500.

within the local community,” said SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher. “Dr. Deans
is an excellent candidate to lead the campus during this interim period. I
commend both the college Board and the SUNY trustees for this appointment.”

students on the campus this fall,” said SUNY Board of Trustees Chairman Carl T.
Hayden. “These students, faculty and staff at Broome have shown confidence in
Dr. Deans as a leader and I am pleased that today the Board is able to approve
his appointment as their interim president.”

thank Chancellor Zimpher for her support and the SUNY Board of Trustees for the
appointment as Interim President of Broome Community College," said Dr.
Deans. "Broome Community College is one of the crown jewels in the SUNY Community College system. I will devote my efforts to build upon BCC’s solid
