State University of New York Board of Trustees to Meet

 

 

Albany – The State University of New York Board of Trustees will hold a meeting Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Charles B. Wang Center, Room 401, Stony Brook, New York.

 

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the appointment of Samuel L. Stanley, Jr., M.D. as president of the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

AGENDA FOR MAY 5, 2009 MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

OF STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK

 

1:00 p.m. Formal Special Board Meeting

 

It is anticipated that the Chairman of the Board will call for a motion to convene an Executive Session under provisions of Section 105 of Article 7 of the Public Officers Law.

 

The Board will convene in open public session immediately following executive session.

 

Location:        State University of New York at Stony Brook, Charles B. Wang Center, Room 401, Stony Brook, New York.

Directions to the Charles B. Wang Center at Stony Brook University: LIE to Exit 62. North on Nicolls Road 8.5 miles. Cross over Route 347 and make left at Main Entrance to university on Nicolls Road. Follow entrance drive and look for signs indicating "press/media parking." (Please be prepared to show your credential to security personnel.) The Charles B. Wang Center is located directly across from the Administration Building.
