Programs :: U-Wide ProgramsThe SUNY CPD supports many University-Wide Programs in their work to serve the SUNY System. Each of the programs is described below; and support services range from program management and registration, training coordination, conference and event planning, and marketing. SUNY Learning Network (SLN): The SUNY Learning Network is the State University of New York's award-winning online education program under the Office of the Provost. The SUNY CPD assists SLN in the coordination of the SLN Faculty Development Program. SLN Workshop Schedule & Registration Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT2): Created in 1989 as FACT (Faculty Access to Computing Technology), the FACT2 Council is an advisory group to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The SUNY CPD supports FACT2 in the following ways:
Information Technology Exchange Center (ITEC) Technical Training Program: ITEC has an agreement with the SUNY CPD for offering an ITEC Technical Training Program. This program:

SUNYConnect: SUNYConnect is a joint initiative of the SUNY Provost's Office of Library & Information Services (OLIS) and the libraries of the 64 SUNY campuses to share collections and services across the State University of New York. The SUNY CPD has coordinated ALEPH, SFX, Gale InfoTrac, ScienceDirect, and ARTstor workshops for the SUNYConnect Project. Academic Software Initiative (ASI): University-wide contracts for a suite of Academic Software that campuses can choose to purchase as part of the group. The SUNY CPD will coordinate training on the following software in this group: ESRI (All ArcView/ArcGIS Products), Maple, Minitab, Mathematica. Student Information & Campus Administrative Systems (SICAS) / Banner Initiative: The SICAS Center develops common software and services for those campuses using Banner Software in New York State.
