SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. "SUNY and New York Fed share a commitment to providing aspiring entrepreneurs with the access, knowledge, and hands-on experience necessary to initiate a successful business in New York," said Chancellor Zimpher. "We are looking forward to working with New York Fed. They are an ideal fit for SUNY’s applied learning program and can provide invaluable financial guidance for our students pursuing business interests."

The forum will guide aspiring entrepreneurs through strategies for conquering student loan debt, steps for creating a business plan, accessing innovative and non-traditional sources of investment capital, and marketing challenges in the age of social media.

The summit is open to all students at no cost. Registration and agenda information is available online.

Representatives from RocketHub, Happy Mango, Kiva Zip, On Grid Ventures LLC, Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater NY, GreenPath Financial Wellness, Operation Hope, the Minority Business Development Institute, Monitor SN, and Lux Beauty Club will be in attendance to meet with students during the summit.
