Employment

There is a wide range of employment opportunities on SUNY campuses. Students should think carefully about balancing work and academic responsibilities.

Federal Work Study (FWS)

This program provides job opportunities by combining federal and campus funds and making awards based on financial need. The current minimum wage applies, but some jobs pay higher than the minimum wage. The FWS aware amount depends on financial need, other aid received, the availability of jobs, and the number of hours you can work.

Other Employment

Most State University campuses have student employment offices to help locate jobs that fit your academic schedule and interests.
