Campus Based Clinically Rich Program Highlights:

  • Transforming educator preparation through high quality clinical practices through over 40 local school partnerships.
  • Welcomed first secondary PDS site in Buffalo and continue efforts to add sites for Exceptional Education partnerships.
  • Hosting multiple I Am College Bound programs bringing over 300 students from Buffalo Public Schools onto campus to explore college and career options.
  • Developing International Professional Development School Consortium partner-ships with schools in Zambia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Italy and Germany.
  • Bringing together a cohort of 49 outstanding experienced STEM teachers from over 30 school districts to collaborate in the Master Teacher Fellowship pro-gram at Buffalo State.
  • Implementing edTPA in all education programs.
  • Collaborating with Community Academic Center to bring tutoring programs, after school activities, and adult education to area residents, including numerous refu-gee families.
  • Maintaining high profiles of volunteer and service learning activities with over 400 students contributing to over 10,000 service hours in local schools and com-munities.

  • Training of pre-service teachers on Smartboards to implement technology based instruction into their lessons.
