SUNY New Paltz Emeritus Group
Our faculty emeriti group is very informal. Our main purpose is to enhance communication amongst ourselves and maintain a connection to the campus. We have two luncheons a year and update our retired faculty directory annually. We encourage participation in campus events like reunions, concerts, plays, etc. Our Development Office has been supportive to us and handles all our publications and mailings.
I am the 'chair' of the group. I still work at the college part-time , so it is easy for me to do what has to be done.
