Profile of SUNY Retirees
There are about 20,000 retirees from the 64 campuses within SUNY. About 1000 employees retire each year. SUNY retirees constitute a large and diverse pool in terms of their expertise and skills, educational background, occupational mix, working experience, age distribution, gender, and racial mix. This rich resource, however, remains largely untapped.
