Outstanding Student Affairs Program Awards 2011 (State-Operated)

During the fall of 2010, the Office of University Life and Enrollment Management at SUNY System Administration and the Council of Chief Student Affairs Officers invited nominations from every SUNY state-operated campus. Campuses were asked to nominate programs that have made a positive impact on students and their development in the following categories: Student Affairs/ Academic Affairs Collaboration; Campus Safety; Innovative Use of Social Networking; Career Development Programs; and Programs that Support the Education Pipeline.

In the spring of 2011, a selection committee comprised of representatives from the campuses and System Administration reviewed the twenty-seven nominations were received from twelve campuses. Of these, five were selected as award recipients. Award recipients will be invited to present their programs at the fall meeting of the Council of Chief Student Affairs Officers held in Corning in October.
