Outstanding Student Affairs Program Awards 2008 (Community Colleges)

During the fall of 2007, the Office of University Life at SUNY System Administration and the Council of Community College Chief Student Affairs Officers invited nominations from every SUNY community college for programs that have made a positive impact on students and their development. Categories included: New Student/First Year Programs; Assessment; Retention; and Diversity and Multicultural Programs.

In the spring of 2008, a selection committee comprised of representatives from the campuses and System Administration reviewed the nominations received. Nine nominations were submitted; three of these were selected for special recognition, and awards will be presented at the Council of Community College Chief Student Affairs Officers Conference to be held in June in Syracuse.

• Diversity and Multicultural Programs - Today's Leadership Team (Rockland Community College)
