Outstanding Student Affairs Program

Outstanding Student Affairs Program
of the
State University of New York

During the Spring of 2006, the Office of University Life at SUNY System Administration invited nominations from every SUNY campus for programs that have made a positive impact on students and their development. Categories included retention, leadership development, health and wellness and civic engagement.

In the Fall of 2006, a selection committee comprised of representatives from the campuses and System Administration reviewed the nominations received. For the state-operated campuses, thirty-one nominations were submitted. Eight of these were selected for special recognition, and awards were presented at the Council of Chief Student Affairs Officers Conference held in Saratoga Springs in December.
