Subject:    	Standard Diploma Form

            In January 1966, the Board of Trustees established a standard diploma form for all State-operated campuses of the University. While most of the campuses have utilized the standard format, it appears that some have made modifications in one way or another.

            The Council of Presidents discussed this at a recent meeting and recommended to the Chancellor that the standard format be used and that diploma forms at variance with it be discontinued.

            To serve as a reminder of and guide to the approved diploma form, I am enclosing a copy of the diploma used by the College at Buffalo.
