Pediatric admissions at Upstate rose 39 percent in the first year of operation of the Golisano Children’s Hospital at SUNY Upstate Medical Center.
From September 2009 to September 2010, the number of pediatric cases increased to 4,150, up from 2,984 from September 2008 to September 2009. In addition, the hospital cared for children from 43 of New York’s 62 counties.
