OAS-SUNY Graduate Scholarship Program  
   



During the Fall of 2008, the State University of New York (SUNY) established a five-year agreement with the Organization of American States (OAS) for the co-funding of graduate education at the four SUNY university centers to bring students from the thirty-five OAS member states. OAS scholarship recipients can apply for master’s and doctoral programs at the University at Albany, Binghamton University, the University at Buffalo, and Stony Brook University

List of OAS-SUNY scholarship students:

Fall 2009 – three OAS scholarship recipients at SUNY:

  • From Belize attending the Master’s program in Biotechnology at the University at Buffalo
  • From St. George, Grenada attending the Master’s program in Regional Planning at the University at Albany
  • From Nassau, Bahamas attending a PhD program in Educational Policy at the University at Albany
Fall 2010 - three OAS scholarship recipients at SUNY:
  • From St. Lucia attending a Master's program of Education at the University at Buffalo 
  • From Uruguay attending a PhD program in Sociology at Stony Brook
  • From Bahamas attending a Master's program of Public Health at the University at Albany
