Television Technician (SL1)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

Responsible for the playback and recording of video programming for terrestrial and satellite distribution. In addition, the TV Technician will be required to perform various television production crew assignments in the studio and the field. These assignments may include camera, lighting and audio work.

Preferred Qualification:

AAS in Telecommunications technical discipline. Experience with one inch type "C: and "3/4" U-Matic SP video tape formats and the ability to use video and audio test and measurement equipment is preferred.
