This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

TELEVISION ART DIRECTOR, produces visual materials for educational and instructional television programs, including graphics, photography, seat design, and exhibits; supervises student assistants who participate in the graphics work; provides art and graphics services for a campus. Evaluates completed television materials in relation to needs of client or faculty member. Edits copy and script for television materials from work order or discussions with faculty.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in media communications, art or related field. One to three years experience in commercial art production for television.
