This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit. Incumbents in this entry level title are not expected to remain employed in this title for an extended period of time and permanent appointment is not anticipated to be made to this title.
As a family, the financial aid titles administer the student financial aid program on a campus. Incumbents interpret and advise students on federal and State University financial aid programs, assisting students and parents in determining need and eligibility for various student aid funds.
Serves on the campus financial aid professional staff. Performs tasks under the direct supervision of an Associate/Assistant Director or a Senior Financial Aid Advisor. Incumbent is learning the professional tasks required and becoming familiar with the available aid programs. This is the entry level title in the series.
A Bachelor's degree.
