This title is in the unclassified service and is designated Managerial/Confidential. Appointees to Managerial/Confidential titles serve at the pleasure of the chief administrative officer and are not represented for collective negotiations.

DIRECTOR, URBAN AFFAIRS, under the Dean of Millard Fillmore College at State University at Buffalo has responsibility for the continuing education program carried on at the Urban and Extension Center for the city of Buffalo. This responsibility includes identification and involvement of community and university leaders, establishment and liaison with the Executive Board of the Urban Affairs Council and determination of policies as they relate to the Urban Affairs program for Buffalo; organizes seminars in Urban Affairs for community and university leaders and coordinates these efforts with the faculty of the university, faculty from outside colleges and universities and from experts in related fields whose expertise contributes to the total urban extension program of the university.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree in a field related to Urban Affairs and academic and/or administrative experience in the field.
