This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
The Director of Student Finances and Records is responsible for supervising the activities of Registration and Records, Financial Aid, Student Accounts and scheduling for the student population including specialized areas in graduate programs and professional schools where applicable. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: supervising the Student Finance and Record division; overseeing registration, scheduling, grading and record keeping; assessing, billing, collecting, and depositing tuition and fees; managing project budgets; serving as a liaison with granting agencies, admissions programs and undergraduate advising staff; conferring with Deans, students and parents regarding complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Business Administration or other relevant discipline. Four to seven years of relevant work experience, preferably in planning, accounting and budgeting.
