This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit. This title is in Appendix A of the SUNY Policies of the Board of Trustees and, as a consequence, incumbents serving in this title are not eligible for permanent appointment (tenure), but, instead receive five year renewable term appointments.

Responsible for all administrative work at the Speech Center including supervision of Staff; provides leadership in the integration of the teachings clinical and research functions of the Speech Center which includes facilities for the supervised clinical training of graduate and undergraduate students to fulfill the requirements for New York State Certification in the field and provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adults with speech disorders. The Speech Center also provides research facilities for University members and is available to students on the graduate level for research projects connected with seminars and theses.

Preferred Qualifications:

MS in the field of speech/audiology; State and professional accreditation and appropriate experience as a practicing speech therapist/audiologist.
