Director of Human Services (SL6)

 

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

The Director of Human Services is responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Center for Human Services. The center encompasses the academic fields of counseling, child and family services, clinical dietetics, consumer economics, food nutrition and home economics. Responsibilities include developing, revising and evaluating relevant curriculum and programs; coordinating the recruitment of orientation faculty; supervising faculty, clerical and professional personnel; formulating, allocating and administering the Center's budget; representing the Center at campus and community meetings. Assumes other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Human Services or related field. 3 to 5 years of teaching and administrative experience preferably in higher education.
