This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

Directs the treasurer function at a campus and has responsibility for collection of tuition, fees, loans and bills and is charged with the maintenance and improvement of procedures for billing, follow-up, collection and accounting for student accounts; works closely with Computer Center personnel to improve and expand the computerization of student accounts billing, updating, reporting and maintenance of student financial history records; works with Registrar personnel to maintain financial integrity of each student; cooperates with other members of the Finance Department staff in reporting and safeguarding cash and other financial transactions; responsible for the update, accuracy and necessary follow-up concerning students with financial aid for purposes of maintaining current data on each affected student.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Higher Education Administration and satisfactory experience in an applicable field.
