Associate Director of Admissions (SL5)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

As a family, admissions positions are responsible for the student recruitment and admissions program at a campus. The office is involved with every aspect of this endeavor, from highest level of policy development to working with students with respect to individual admissions.

Serves as second in charge to a Director of Admissions and (... ). Supervises professional staff. Assists in all functions of the admissions office. Acts for the Director as required. May have primary responsibility for a special area, such as enrollment planning, financial aid, records, or graduate admission.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree. Significant experience in admissions and/or other special area of responsibility is required as is experience as a manager or supervisor.
