Associate for Educational Communications (SL5)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

The Associate for Educational Communications usually acts as the business manager for a large Educational Communications Center (E.C.C.). Develops and maintains the fiscal management of the center including the development and maintenance of charge-back and recharge systems. Develops E.C.C. budget information for internal control and for use in establishing the campus budget; maintains financial records for purposes of budget control and cost analysis; operates a decentralized purchasing unit; oversees the financial aspects of the E.C.C. stores operations; responsible for the operation and content of computerized material related to E.C.C. business transactions; prepares annual report; assumes duties of the Director in the Director's absence.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Systems or Accounting and three years of progressively related experience.
