This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
As a family, Occupational Therapists work closely with other members of the health care team to devise and carry out specialized treatment programs aimed at enabling patients to return to their normal activities.
Administers all aspects of patient care in compliance with department policies and procedures; recommends other services as indicated and fabricates or provides appropriate devices; participates in the department quality control, inventory control and in-service training programs. Functions under the general supervision of the Senior Specialist.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Occupational Therapy and zero to two years experience; NYS license or license eligible but must pass exam within one year.
